Recent Promotions:

After his participation in the Africa Center’s seminar on small arms and light weapons in 2008, Mr. José Inkongo was appointed to Permanent Secretary of the National Commission on the Control of small Arms and Light Weapons and the Reduction of Armed Violence in the Republic of Congo.

Mr. Francis Buhendwa Rushinga has been serving as Deputy Legislative Advisor with D.A.I. (Development Alternatives, Inc.) since January 2010. D.A.I. is currently leading a USAID project on Good Governance in the DRC. Mr. Rushinga participated in the Managing Security Resources Seminar in 2009.

Lieutenant Colonel Jean-Pierre Ginigume Wilizile – Democratic Republic of the Congo : 22 November 2007 : Lieutenant Colonel Jean-Pierre Ginigume Wilizile has been become a licensed Assistant Professor of International Relations at the National Pedagogy University in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He also currently serves at the Chief of Military Cooperation at the Ministry of National Defense. Lt Colonel Wilizile participated in the 2006 Next Generation of African Military Leaders Course in Washington, DC.
