The Africa Center for Strategic Studies and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) held an academic webinar to increase awareness and knowledge among African youth about disinformation and its effects on security in Africa. For purposes of these webinars, “youth” refers to professionals under the age of 35.
Webinar Objectives
- Increase awareness and understanding of disinformation challenges among African youth.
- Discuss the prevalence and impact of disinformation on African youth.
- Explore strategies to identify and combat disinformation.
- Foster a collaborative approach to disinformation mitigation.
