Mrs. Bolatito Arinola Laditan – Nigeria – 17 May 2008: Mrs. Bolatito Arinola Laditan has been named the Assistant Director of the Joint Services Department within the Nigerian Ministry of Defense. She previously served as the Chief Administrative Officer of the same department. Mrs. Laditan participated in the February 2006 Trans-Sahara Counterterrorism Topical Seminar held in Algiers, Algeria.
Captain Abimbola O. Ayuba – Nigeria – 18 April 2008: Captain Abimbola O. Ayuba has been appointed Director of Policy within the Policy and Plans Branch of the Nigerian Navy. He was formerly Director of Administration/PSO Training Advisor at the Nigerial National War College. Captain Ayuba participated in the Africa Center’s ECOWAS Training Needs Analysis Workshop in July, 2006 held in Abuja.
Captain Abel Omamofe Memuduaghan – Nigeria: 25 March 2008:Captain Abel Omamofe Memuduaghan has been named the Technical Depot Director at the Ministry of Defense Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. He previously served as the Assistant Electronics Director in the Logistics Department in Abuja. Captain Memuduaghan participated both in the December 2005 Managing Security Resources in Africa Seminar in Accra, Ghana, and at the September 2007 Community Leadership Conference held in Washington, DC.
Captain Abel Memuduaghan – Nigeria: 17 December 2007: Captain Abel Memuduaghan has been promoted to the rank of Captain in the Nigerian Navy, decorated by the Chief of Defence Staff on 17 December 2007. He currently serves as Assistant Director within the logistics department at the Nigerian Ministry of Defence. Captain Memuduaghan participated in the 2005 Managing Security Resources in Africa Conference in Accra, Ghana, and serves on the Planning Committee of the ACSS Nigeria Community Chapter.
Major General Godwin George Umo – Nigeria: 6 December 2007: Major General Godwin George Umo has been promoted to the rank of Major General in the Nigerian Army. He currently serves as Director of Standards and Combat Readiness within the Ministry of Defence. Major General Umo participated in the 2007 Senior Leader Seminar in Addis Ababa.
Ms. Fatima Kyari Mohammed – Nigeria : 26 November 2007 : Ms. Fatima Kyari Mohammed has recently joined the European Commission as Programme Officer for Regional Cooperation. She previously served as regional Project Manager at Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Ms. Mohammed participated in the 2005 Senior Leader Seminar in Gaborone, Botswana.
